Growth Project Manager


Purpose of the Role

The Growth Project Manager qualifies new customer account opportunities and assigns a team member to pursue the deal. It’s the responsibility of the Growth Project Manager to ensure that a prospect’s initial communications with Edit are positive and reflective of our brand and proposition, while also disqualifying enquiries that will not help us to meet our objectives. The Growth Project Manager is responsible for CRM input/sales reporting and implementation and development of the Growth team’s requirements within the Salesforce CRM.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow the Edit sales process and ensure other team members do the same, training junior staff where necessary

  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries via the contact form/email address or forward inbound communications to the relevant individuals at Edit

  • Discuss client requirements and qualify inbound sales opportunities from the website during initial phone calls

  • Book meetings/phone calls with inbound prospects on behalf of Growth Account Managers

  • Add opportunities to Salesforce

  • Ensure credit checks are completed

  • Conduct market research, including company and attendee information on behalf of Growth Account Managers prior to meeting/phone calls

  • Supply CRM implementation team with Growth requirements for Salesforce CRM

  • Work with Client Services and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure all deal information is accurate up-to-date in Salesforce

  • Compile and analyse sales figures and provide daily sales updates to the Group Growth Director

  • Provide a weekly sales report to the Edit management team

  • Input Edit company information into RFI/RFP/SQ or other proposals/procurement portals

  • Learn Edit’s capabilities and case studies and take responsibility for staying up to date with new work and products that may be relevant to prospects, as well as keeping up to date with competitors


  • Experience in sales role

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM system

  • Strong team player, ability to motivate and inspire multi-disciplinary colleagues with open and honest communication – and co-ordinate resources

  • Comfortable with owning and delivering sales reports

  • Excellent qualification skills

  • Ability to assimilate new material quickly – and to discern business value

  • Ability to plan, organise and effectively communicate compelling ideas and concepts at all levels, including C-suite
